White Rose History, Volume III: Academic version

White Rose History, Volume III: Fighters to the Very End (October 13, 1943 to May 8, 1945) ~ The Unfinished Story.

History of the White Rose, by Ruth Hanna Sachs.

The Roses who were not executed did not stop fighting. Two were killed for their continued resistance in 1945. One of those? Christoph Probst's father-in-law, Harald Dohrn.

Note that release date has been pushed back a couple of times. Not for lack of trying, but because of the immense difficulties accessing primary source materials related to this time frame. We've even run into brick walls with our FOIA requests of the U.S. Department of Defense and former INS. Don't worry, we won't give up until we're convinced we've got the WHOLE story.

ETA 2011-12-27: Beginning February 22, 2012, all pre-paid orders for this volume will receive a log-in name and password to access the raw data behind this book. If you place your order through a book service or library, you must authorize them to give us your name and email address. The license for the access to raw data is valid only for individuals, not for institutions or a class of students.

This volume will not be published in three-ring binder form. Once the research behind it has been completed, we will release it in comb-bound, perfect binding, and hardcover editions only.

Pre-orders will ship in the order in which they are received; funds will be collected upon placement of order.
